Our Parish was reestablished on January 1st, 2017 within the framework of the restructuring process of our diocese. If the three catholic communities Apolda, Camburg and Jena. A total of 35 municipalities with the respective districts belong to it.
The head of the parish with our main parish church St. John the Baptist” is located in Jena. Here, you will find the main office and our priest as well as our administration bodies. Our parish pastoral council, which is advising and supporting the priest in all religious matters, and our executive board, which administers the parish’s finances, are overseeing the whole Parish from here.
The three main communities organize their parish life individually. Under the cities’ names you will find their websites with all the services offered and a local contact person. The local parish council of Jena takes care of the community life in Jena where as the local parish council of Apolda oversees the communities in Apolda and Camburg.
You will find all Mass Times for Jena under worship service Jena and alle Mass times for Apolda, Bad Sulza and Camburg under worship service Apolda/Bad Sulza/Camburg.
